Company History
Slightly Different was founded by Jeremy Hurst and Nic Drew at the turn of the century and commenced trading on 8th September 2000 using a traditional business model allowing for organic sustainable growth - at this time this was highly unusual for the Internet industry.
Through dedication, hard work, and a constant strive towards achieving the very best in all that they do, the team transformed their vision into reality. Slightly Different is now one of the fastest growing agencies in the country with a clear vision for a sustainable future.
The Team
Jeremy Hurst - Managing Director.
Jeremy is responsible for all aspects of business development, together
with the business growth strategy of Slightly Different. Utilising his
wide military, public and private sector experience, he has a unique
insight and is capable of fast, incisive analysis of business issues to
achieve the best solution. A regular public speaker, he is also the Devon
and Cornwall Regional Adviser to the British Interactive Media
Association, a national organisation promoting excellence within the UK
interactive industry.
Nic Drew - Technical Director.
A Unix guru, he has worked in the Internet industry since the early
1990s. In his role as Technical Director, Nic is responsible for the
technology management of Slightly Different, overseeing all project
managers and ensuring that the highest levels of quality control are
maintained at all times. Nic is a Board level Internet strategy adviser
to a number of high profile companies throughout the South West.
